Hello all,

I have applied for British naturalization, I post my application on 12th of March and got acknowledgement/receipt letter on 14th of march. Last week I applied for social care job and then they called for an interview. Well I got my job but they asked for my passport for CRB check, I told them i don't have my passport at the moment as it was expired and I have applied for British naturalisation and also showed them receipt from UK border agency. They said its not enough they still need my reference number so they can inquire about me from border agency, now I don't understand from who and how I ask for my reference number? where should I call? These people giving me a lot of headache. Also can someone tell me how long more my case going to take? Thanks

Your reference no. is the same as your answer to question 1.1 on the form AN.
