I am confused about my tier 1 extension can you please help me with the following.
I already have tier 1 HSMP which is going to expire in 15 MAR 2013 so i already brought my wife here in JAN 2012 as my dependant.
1. I am expecting my baby in NOV so how would it work after that either i apply straight for my baby visa or will apply together on the time of my extension?
2. would i be able to apply for paternity leave and would it effect at the time of applying for indefinite?
3. would i be able to get child birth fund and would it effect me later?
4. i have available funds of income if i apply for visa next month? would i be able to get my visa extension now and my visa will be extended after my expiry or they will cancel my old visa which is going to expire on mar 2013 and issue me new visa ?
help me plzzzz

You can apply together for the baby at the time of extension. No need for any prior extension. This is only, provided you will not be travelling abroad before your extension. Please also refer to this link from the moderator Child Born in UK
2. would i be able to apply for paternity leave and would it effect at the time of applying for indefinite?
Paternity paid leave is limited, beyond that you would have to use your annual leaves or leave without pay. Your ILR would get affected depending on whether you would be travelling out of the country for more than 90 days in a year or a total of 6 months in 5 years
3. would i be able to get child birth fund and would it effect me later?
You may want to get a second opinion on this, but a Child Fund would require you to apply for Child benefits which you are not entitled to on your current visa status. So claiming this would definitely affect your Tier 1 extension or ILR

This will be a tricky one since you have almost 10 months more left before visa expiry. Many applicants who have applied at least 4 months before their visa expiry managed to get the new visa dates extended after their current visa expiry. However this has not been a case for all, as many who have applied almost a year in advance had their new dates starting from the date of new approval resulting in the loss of their previous stay period. Hope this makes sense? I would personally not recommend this. You might also want to hear from what others have to say

All you need is a solicitor and £100 in your pocket to answer most of your question above. To make it wii bit easier - you will need to apply for your new born' visa soon after his/her birth and once you have obtained the passport.
An [Expensive] Immigrant journey has ended 19/08/2015. Good luck to you all out there...

As said by slient_warrior, if you are not travelling outside UK then you don't need his visa. Just apply for his/her passport and then think for visa.
2. would i be able to apply for paternity leave and would it effect at the time of applying for indefinite?

Ok. So if you apply next visa. They will issue you 2/3 yr visa depending upon your first leave to remain starting from their date of approval. Which would be definitely before mar 13.
