Holiday advice whilst case is in the courts?

Post by northcave » Mon May 14, 2012 12:00 pm

Myself and my partner currently have an open case in the courts about her Visa. They have been dragging it out so long that it is now well over a year and we still don't have a date for the hearing.

Anyway we want to go on holiday later this summer. Could anyone advise about visiting Guernsey? Since she still has legal leave to remain until the case is resolved, we can visit anywhere in the UK. Does Guernsey count?

The reason I ask is because we have a yacht and want to sail over there but we wouldn't want to be faced with a problem when we got there or case back obviously.

Many thanks

Tim
