My claim for ILR entry 2007

Post by KaneBarnet » Mon May 14, 2012 9:30 pm

I had not considered the changed to the ILR would effect me

I came in under Work Permit (UK) that was issued on 4 Oct 2007. I had 60 month from date of leave to enter. The visa states Group Learning Techology Advisor which is has required tasks closest to the list 3131.

I know I still required by the company and they are willing to say that I am. My dAte would be around November 2012.

My concern is that I won't have a high enough rate of pAy

" Your current rate of pay (this should be given in the same format as given in the codes of practice, for  example hourly rate or yearly salary), and - confirmation that this is at or above the appropriate rate for the job as stated in the codes of practice for Tier 2 sponsors. (See note 9 of page 41 of this form)."

I can't seem to find where the rates of pay are listed for job types by the Home Office.

Can you advise on the above?

Hope this will help.

Good luck for your ILR.

Many thanks

Looking at this it would appear to be visible here

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... ary#page25

Surprised that wages as low as £24,900 qualify but this does not apply to me.

My work permit from 2007 states that my occupation is
Group Learning Technolgy Advisor
My role closet matches
Senior PC support analyst/Senior PC support

From this I can see its not as hopeless as first though. Guess I will require some help but it might be worth working towards

Thanks

I am looking for more information about the number of days leave.

It seems to a very straight forward 180 days total. I have no compelling reasons but I do travel a lot for leisure.

I have started counting am back two years with 96 days already. Is this the level of details required? What if there is in excess of 180 days ?

This may apply to me

Other qualifying categories
When assessing if an applicant has met the criteria for five years continuous residence in the UK, short absences abroad may be disregarded, provided the applicant has clearly continued to be based in the UK. For example:
• holidays (consistent with annual paid leave)

Aside from these being just a few days at time and in most cases just one night out of the UK what do you think I can show to prove I am living here!

Do you need bank statments showing payments to for phone lines and rent.
I have been living in the UK but have not already paid rent as living with family and friends.

Although I do think I have Bank records payment made for rent over the years

Is this something I should think about collecting?

Not required.

Arrange for a letter from employer certifying dates of paid leaves and any absence(s) from UK for employment / business purposes.
