Quick earnings query

Post by nks » Tue May 15, 2012 8:40 pm

My initial Tier 1 application was from India and using uplift ratio, my income amounted to 65000 GBP, hence getting 85 points instead of required 75.

Is there any requirement that my income should be same as initial application even when I can manage required 75 points for extension with much lesser income??

I couldn't find any such clause in guidance and nor from my search through posts here but trust any remaining doubts would be cleared through this mighty forum.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think so mate. You don't have to match the points you scored in your initial application while you apply for extension. If you are qualifying with 75 points than thats all you need to show.

I agree with longshift. There is nothing to say that you need to match the points earned during your initial application. All you need to do is ensure that you qualify with the number of points required (under the Tier 1 rules that were in place when you made your initial application).
