Spouse visa ???!

Post by Sana Hussain » Fri May 18, 2012 3:29 pm

Just need some advise on a spouse visa.. I am a british citizen and my husband is from Pakistan.. We married in 2009 but because of the age restriction I was unable to call him over as I was only 16.... Now the immigration have decided you can call spouse over under the age of 21, I have applied for my husbands visa but the only thing I'm worried about is I'm on a zero hour contract but I have been working 40 hours since I started the job... Do u think the immigration will have a problem with that ?

Thanks x

Zero hour contracts are quite common. You just need to submit bank statements + payslips to show you're regularly working 40 hours weekly.

Yeh I have sent off 2 months bank statements and 3 months wage slips, I only sent 2 months bank statements as there were rumours going round saying u need to be earning 26k annually to apply for spouse and my third bank statement was due to cum end of the month, but the 2 bank statements I sent have a good balance so I hope day dosent be problem... Xx

When did you make your application? If you applied after 9 July 2012 you would've needed at least 6 months payslips.
