Typing error in son's BRP, no time for reporting

Hi Everyone,

I just received our BRP cards, but there is a typing error in my son’s place of birth. He was born in the UK and because we have an urgent travel ahead I included him in ILR application. I booked a non refundable ticket for the next week after our ILR application was approved on 8th of May. My questions are:

1-May that typing error cause a problem when we want to come back to UK.
2- If I don’t report that error, is it going to be a problem when I want to register my son as British citizen using MN1.

I had the same problem and as per the instructions we have to send the cards and passport back within 10 days of receiving it.

However in couple of days they will send you the passports back and BRP will follow. unfortunately you will need to notify them NOW if you will be back any later than 10 days.
