Acknowledgement letter

Acknowledgement letter

I applied for Tier 1 General extension on April 4 2012. Application received by Home Office on 5 April and fee deducted on 11 May. I have not received any acknowledgement letter nor any reference number.

Is there any way to check with UKBA and when will I receive my biometric enrolment letter?

Going by current timelines, you would receive the Ack letter maybe this week or next week.
there is no way to find out from UKBA about your acknowledgement letter as you will get a standard response from the helpline. Hopefully you would receive the biometric inviation in the first or second week of June. There are many in a similar situation to yours on this forum

any update on your acknowledgement letter yet? I am in the same boat and have not received the ack letter after my fee debited on May 16.

I am getting a bit worried now.

All those who apply through london is in long queue. North, Scotland and Wales are better off. I applied on 14th may. Got ack on 22nd fee deduced on 22nd may

I never received acknowledgement letter. However, I have received biometric letter on 30 May and provided same day.

@MS_Singh : Many thanks for your reply bro! May be I am also one of the case where they dont sent ack letter.

going by your timeline, I am may have to wait for another 15 days for my biometric invitation letter.

that sucks, I should have applied earlier.
