Maintenance requiremet changes on 14th June 2012

Hi All,
I have actually got a question regarding the change in maintenance requirements that might effect anyone applying on or after 14th June 2012. The news is that maintenance requirement will change to £900 for main applicant and £600 for dependant. I have actually got a PEO appointment booked for 14th June 2012 and the application form on the UKBA website are the ones issued on 6th April 2012. The main applicant form is correct as in the maintenance requirement section it does say that it should be £900 if you apply on or after 14th June 2012 but in the dependant application form it still says £533 to be shown as maintenance. There is no new dependant form on the website yet and my worry is if they post a new form on 14th June 2012 when I go for my application what will happen in that case, will they still accept my form that I would have downloaded from UKBA website on 13th June 2012.
Any help in this regard would be much appreciated.

Whenever UKBA changes the form, they still accept the old form for 15-20 days. Just ensure that you have sufficient funds as per new rules on 14th June.

UKBA normally publishes the updated forms one day before they are applicable.

So look out for Dependent form on 13th June and download if you see it is updated. else explain this in your cover letter and mention the same to CW when you submit your application.

The key is correct maintenance funds as per new rules and don't worry about the forms.

Thanks a lot mantasingh & sushdmehta. So we can use the older version of the form upto 21 days ?
