Tier 1 (General) application

Post by Tier1immigrant » Thu May 24, 2012 9:21 pm

I got PEO appointment for the last day of my visa. I have 2 questions.
:

1. Would it be ok to send dependents' applications by post the same day in the evening once I receive my approval letter back? Would approval letter be acceptable as my (sponsor) status to send with my dependents' applications?

2. Is it right that send dependants' applications separately by post will cost £561 each, sent together with main applicant cost £750 each and PEO appointment cost £900. So I will have to pay £561 if I send separately right?

Thanks

1. What if your in-person application is not decided on that day for any reason (e.g. - deferred for further verification, operational issue at PEO on that day)? That said, I believe it should be okay to include the approval letter.
2. Tier 1 (General) application fees

Many thanks. that was very helpful. Another quick question please.

I had actually booked for 3 people including my dependants, but now they cannot make it. I cannot see any option to chance the number of dependants. Can I just turn up myself and get it done? .....or will I have to inform them by phone or least preferable....cancel the appointment and rebook again?

Many thanks.

Many thanks for your prompt reply.

Regarding my question 2 above, I just wanted to clarify the reason I asked despite it being very obvious from the website. Previously they charged more for sending separate applications, but now it is less than sending together with the main applicant (which is apparently more efficient)

Does that mean they are encouraging people to send applications separately?

Its actually a really stupid move. They just made life little difficult for every one. Applicants and case workers.

I think, they must have checked their records and found that most of the applications of dependants are made togather with the main applicant so lets charge more money this way.
