Relevance of CSI

Recently I've got my RC for 5 years, and due to the new HO requirement I did CSI cover, but it expires in July.
I wonder, is it required to prolong the insurance plan each year?

I am working non-eea family member. But I wonder that HO could ask me in future for 5 years insurance evidences when I decide to prolong my RC?!

If you are working but the EU national is not working, then the EU national is self-sufficient on the basis of your income, and you both need CSI. It may be asked to prolong your RC but will certainly be necessary (and for the entire period if your partner continues to be self-sufficient) when you apply for PR. For periods when your partner is working, it is not necessary to have CSI.

Can you please confirm me ..
) did yoy buy CSI on monthly installement or paid in advance in full ,and did you show HO the payment dedcutions from the insurance compnay on bank statment etc.

We pay monthly for our CSI. Yes, we provided bank statement with the payments to our insurance company.

As I understood in order to be insured and not to regret in future, is it better to do CSI plan each year?!

You need it for the periods when your partner is not working. There is no point applying for PR in five years and buying CSI the week before the application just so you can show you have it at that time. It will be looked at retrospectively, and if you did not have at time in the previous five years when your partner was self-sufficient, PR cannot be granted.

Please note there are circumstances where a worker, who is no longer working, retains the status of worker (involuntary unemployment, vocational training for example).
