ILR APPLICATION PENDING WITH HOME OFFICE

Hi, I applied my ILR on 27th April with my family ( wife & 2 children) at croydon office. I was waiting till 3.30 p.m. finally, Case worker called and asked my application and all the documents. he did not discussed with me anything, he just mentioned to come back after hour and half. He called at 5.00 pm. and said my application is false refuse. however, my application is valid. but, there are some further enquiries required my case to finalise.

I am Senior engineer in Oil & Gas field, working energy & chemicals company. as a senior professional responsibilities are, go to overseas assignments and travel to other offices as well. I went three times times Indian office for short trip and I went to Saudi Arabia for long ( 8 weeks/ 2 weeks off) assignments. this assignment took nearly 19 months and twice my stay extended more then 90 days, one was 116 and 2nd was 96 days. but, all these I was in the UK payroll and I paid off tax and NI contribution as well. My employer has given a very strong letter mentioned the reason for absence.

I argued with Case worker on that day.He said to me, Your point is valid, but, he cannot take any decision such a cases and take it to senior case worker ( Grade 7). I read in the UKBA website, such cases can be approved by Senior Executive officer or Grade Seven.

In my case, I submitted all evidence for assignment letter, Employer letter, continuing employment, p60, salary for 5 years, bank statement for 5 years. council tax and utilities etc.

Please help me, any one this same situation.

Doesn't make any sense.
