any effets of personal loan on Visa extension

Hi,

My tier 1 is due for an extension in some time. I am thinking about applying for a personal loan from bank (the same bank/account for which i will be producing statements for an extension).

Question -
1. Will it have any impact on my extension applicaiton wrt maintenance funds. Lets say i have mainted an amounnt of 10000£ in my account and then i take a personal loan of 10000£, are they going to subtract 10000 from 10000 making it a big 0???

I have a personal loan from the same bank, whose statements I have used for my tier 1 extension successfully. So, I can confirm there is no such effect whatsoever.

[QuickSam]

UKBA doesn't check for loans. What they check is, whether you have sufficent funds for maintenance.
