Switching-Tier 2 (General) to Tier 1 (General) within UK

Post by PVM005 » Fri May 25, 2012 3:32 pm

Hi,

I am on a Tier 2 (General) which I have got before 6th April 2011 (I was on a Tier 2 (ICT) till Dec 2010), can you please tell me if I can get an ILR if I continue to be on Tier 2 next year as I will complete 5 years or I need to switch to Tier 1 and also most importantly is it possible to switch from Tier 2 (General) to Tier 1 now? I would be highly obliged if you can help me with the information and guide me in the right direction.

Thanks

Tier 1 (General) is closed to new applicants .... has been for more than a year now!

For current rules regarding settlement as a Tier 2 (General) migrant, read 245HF, in particular 245HF(x).
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
