Funds requirement for spouse visa

Hi. Can Any one tell me please do I have to show any funds or saving to apply for my partner spouse visa. Partner living in uk? I have 2 kids as well born in uk. partner working full time and I am house wife.

2 more questions. 1) partner completed MBA management in 2010 from Nottingham university via topup programme his course was 8 months full time. He need to do any English course for visa? 2) I am getting only child banafit, tax Cradit and working tax Cradit this going to effect my partner visa or not ? Thanks
