ILR PEO success Sheffield

Post by Jmurphy » Sat May 26, 2012 1:46 pm

Hello,

My ILR was approved on 25 May at sheffield( HSMP-> Tier1). I would like to thank everyone who has shared their experiences and knowledge on this forum. It helped me to understand what to expect on the day.

To share my experience. My appointment was for 9.30 PM, arrive at 9 AM, got through security arrangements, went to the reception, took a token at 9.15 called by a caseworker, she took my documents and passport and asked me to wait. At 9.30 called by token number to make payment. Made payment and I was asked to wait.

At 10.30 , caseworker came with my documents, asked me some questions on the documents, answered everything correctly without hiding anything. He asked me to wait for another hour.

While I was waiting called my number for Bio - Metrics, went to the bio metric room gave my finger prints, came back. At 11.45 , caseworker came back and gave my documents said application being approved.

When I asked that I need to complete FLR M for my wife and can I do that before I get my bio-metric card and do it on the basis of the letter he has just given me, he did not give me a straight reply.

I did not put pressure on him, just in case I annoy him.

Came back happy. Overall experience was okay, not very friendly not very rude caseworkers.

Now it's time to apply for FLR (M) for my wife.

It would be good if anyone could let me know, what documents to give for FLR ( M) and can I apply by post before I get my Bio-Metric card

Thanks

Hi

Lots and lots of heartiest congratulations on getting your ILR and thanks a lot for sharing your PEO experience on the forum.
At 10.30 , caseworker came with my documents, asked me some questions on the documents, answered everything correctly without hiding anything. He asked me to wait for another hour.
Will you please kindly ellaborate what questions the case worker asked from you ?? That would be great help for us.

Thanking you in anticipation and waiting for your reply.

Good luck for the future.

Hello Smam,

Basically he asked me general questions like ;

Why do want to apply for ILR ?
Where do you work ?
For how long you have been working ?
What do you do ?
Where you live ?
Do you have P60 ?
Do yo have any dependants ?

Once I answered all these he said, I will verify your documents and will reply within two hours. I am sure they ask these question pretty much to everyone.
