Tier 1 -> ILR : More than 180 days

Post by ritswaney » Sat May 26, 2012 11:12 pm

Hey experts
I am currently on Tier 1 and eligible for ILR.

I was counting the number of whole days outside the country, and that comes out to be 198 (which is more than the max of 180)

I was also hoping to make a trip over the long weekend, which would make it 206 days away in all.

I'm wondering if I apply for my ILR upon my return, will 206 days away affect my case ? And whether its a good idea for me to make this 8 day trip over the coming long weekend.

Confused :/

206 shouldn't be a problem .... if these include some business / employment related absences.

Hey thanks for that. There is just a 5 day Business related absence, the rest are just annual trips (including things like Marriage, etc) Am I still alright?

Do you think it would be okay to make this trip to add 8 days to my existing pile of 198 to give me a grand total of 206.
