Re: Query regarding eligibility of ILR

Post by DMKA » Sun May 27, 2012 12:23 am

Hi,

My wife was in UK as student and PSW category total 8 years. She is now in UK as Tier-2 dependant. She was only 3 weeks at home country to switch from Tier-4 to Tier-2 dependant.

For my ILR, I have to wait another 4 years. But my wife will complete 10 years in coming 2 years ( 2 years ahead of my eligibility).

My query is whether my wife will be eligible to apply for ILR when she will have complete 10 years stay on her own merit?

Thanks

Probably, if the 10-year long residence category still exists.
