t2 sponsorship license and cos

Post by race09 » Mon May 28, 2012 7:46 am

hi all,

i am currently on a t1 post study and want to switch to t2 sponsored.
i have been working for my current employer for over a year and thus i think don't need the resident labour market test

they have applied for the sponsorship license but it has been 1 month and still nothing from them and chasing this, ukba has told them they have a backlog and can take couple more weeks? does this sound right? how long should it normally take?

once they get their license, i have read the guide for t2 post study, and i know what documents i should prepare and ...

the only thing that i am not sure of , is once my employer gets the license, how long will it take for them to get a cos for me and what do they have to do? i don't think i am part of the limit for cos as i am in the uk on t1 post study, am i correct?

all comments are appreciated

thanks

Your employer will get COS allocation along with the license. it doesnt require any extra time. Dont worry everything will get sorted. all the best.
