As I wrote in here, my first eea1 application got returned (along with my wife's eea2 application) on the ground my evidence of being a eea jobseeker wasn't sufficient: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... 797#648797
I will now re-submit my forms with extra evidence. My evidence is now: an email from a jobrecruiter's agency confirming that I am now indeed registered with them, and 2 printed job applications from me on 2 job openings on monsterboard.
My question is about the following:
I wrote a coverletter to accompany the applications, letting the ukba know that I think the first time my evidence (that proves that I sent my cv to 2 agencies and that I visited the agencies in person asking for work) should not have been returned because eu rules say that any evidence of "actively seeking for work" should be considered and the ukba may not ask for specific evidence.
I also wrote in the coverletter that if they will not accept the improved evidence this time I will contact solvit to support my case. I also ask the ukba in the coverletter not to return the applications but request they ask us for more documents if they need them from us.
My wife is worried that my (very friendly) coverletter will anger the officer, and entice the officer to react irrationaly. (Maybe by finding some other little flaw in our application that normally would not be a problem.)
Could she be right? Is no coverletter better?
thanks
oh, and another question related with the re-submittal: is it ok if I send the ukba the exact same (signed and filled out) eea1 and eea2 forms that we submitted the first time? The only thing that has really changed is the checklist in the eea1 application that sums up the supporting documents.
