PEO application at croydon

Post by acpula » Tue May 29, 2012 4:25 pm

Hi team,

On 25-05-2012 I had my PEO appointment for ILR after completing my 5 years.
I am qualified and satisfied for all the points (95 points in my case) for the application.

During my 5 years I am out of the country for 106 days on one occasion.

For the first 17 days out of 106 days, I am paid in the UK and provided payslips and bank statements for this period making my unpaid leave out of the country 89 days.

While I am in UK i am on work permit, I got my HSMP approved while i am in UK, so i gone back to india and applied for HSMP entry clearance during the same 106 out days.
Next, UK home office endorsed my visa incorrectly (typed Gender incorrectly), I noticed this after 2 weeks and applied for correction.

Next, My passport got damaged and has to reapply for new Indian passport

All these issues accumulated to 106 days and i have given this description in the cover letter. Also attached damaged passport and visa which they typed incorrectly

I am very unhappy that the case worker as did not accept (he is very stubborn and did not listen to what ever i am explaining him nor gone through the cover letter) this and provided a letter that he need further investigation and kept the file with him with out any decision. He just said he is not happy with this 106 absence what ever may be the reason'.

Does his investigation means a senior case worker? Does the senior case worker go through the complete case again?

I want to know if anyone gone through this kind of issues, Since its a PEO application what should be the turn around time?

What would be the possibly of my case getting success?

Appreciate your responses please as i am going through tough times. I wish no one should have these kind of problems.

Hi

To the best of my knowledge the CW is right and just trying to do his/her job according to the guidelines provided to them. They'll just take their time and do their investigations and then will get back to you in due course of time. If your case is straight forward a part from your unusual absenses then you shouldn't be getting worried at all. Arguing with the CW would have left you in a bit more worst situation so I would say that you're lucky that the CW didn't refused your case straight away and just kept the file for further investigations which is an extremely good sign.

Every individual case is different so no one can say from surity that what will happen hopefully you'll be fine.

Good luck for your ILR.
