TIER 1 DEPENDANT EXTENSION SEPERATE by post IN UK

Post by abhijitrunwal » Tue May 29, 2012 4:39 pm

Hi
Please guide. I am going to apply seperately for Tier 1 dependants by post. I am going PEO.
I am doing this because I save money as I have 3 dependants.
What are the documents I need to submit apart from regular maintenace of funds and my visa approval letter. Like marriage certificate, birt certificate, rental agrrement, council tax, electrivity bill, wife bank account statement.
Thanks

No. Why do you think so?
Extension can only be applied for from UK. From outside the UK, one can only apply for entry clearance.

Since I am applying personally and my 3 dependants apllying seperately by post so that i can save money they may question and delay the application or think I am not living with dependants etc.

when I initially applied I had written mcom in the form (not sure but i think so i have )and pbs showed 35 points but I had submitted my ca degree and bcom degree also with mcom so do you think that they will give 35 points for mcom or 30 points for ca/bcom. I never received how much points I got for anything that time so not sure. I have only required minimum 95 points and no room for anything.
Also is hsbc bank duplicate statements ok.
I am being paranoid I guess.
Thanks a lot for your support.

If that was to be the case, they wouldn't have allowed the dependant(s) to apply separately at all.

Don't worry mate... I am going to do the same. And why do you think they will think that you don't live with them. Aren't you going to put the same address in their application form? You are thinking too negetively. They have made this option cheaper and people are going to opt for it more now. so relax. You wont be the only one.

With regards to the qualification points, you will get the same points as last time.

Also is hsbc bank duplicate statements ok.
Its ok so long they are stamped and signed or are printed on official bank letterhead or are attached togather with a letter from HSBC stating that the statements are fine.

Following is from UKBA Website:

What the bank statements must show

Bank statements you send must be on official bank stationery, and must show each of the payments that you are claiming. If you wish to send electronic bank statements from an online account you should also send a supporting letter from the bank on company headed paper confirming that the documents are authentic. Alternatively, electronic bank statements with the official stamp of the bank that issued the statements will be accepted. The stamp must appear on every page of the statement

The bank statements are being ordered form hsbc. they charge for the service and are not electronc print outs. the only difference is its written duplicate on it since they had send original and now they have sent the copies again. they look exactly the same as original with logo and all and. they are not ready to sign it or give a letter to me.

Also if someone has submitted bcom degree before but now submitted mcom degree whether he will get 35 points or 30 points. I am not 100% sure how many points I have got last time.

"Duplicate" statements requested from the bank through their customer service centre or branch do not require a signature or stamp.
