ILR Success (Perm+self emploment) - Cryodon PEO - 30th May

Hi All,

We had our ILR Premium appointment at Cryodon PEO today. We were bit worried about the IT issues reported recently on the forum. But fortunately it was all ok today.

Following are approximate timelines -

Appointment time - 8.20

8.15 - At the UKBA gate (We were running late as ideally should reach 30mins before the appoinement)
8.30 - Done with security
8.45 - Counter in the ground floor where the lady went through the form and orally asked if I have stayed for more than 90days in one stretch outside UK etc. and gave us the token.
8.55 - Payment was done on first floor.
9.30 - On first floor another counter where some checks were done with passports (not sure what was it for)
10.00 - Bio metrics taken. Was told it will take from 45mins to 2hr for the biometrics results to come through. Later there was an announcement saying because of techincal problems they were running 2hr late.
11.45 - Case worker called us. And asked for following documents apart from passport and SET (O) form -
1. 12 months bank statements
2. Life in UK test cert.
3. Payslips.
4. Some proof for cohab - gave her my wife's employer letter confirming addresses for last 3 years, council tax statement for last 4-5 years.
5. Accountant documents
6. P60s
7. Invoices (I had certified it from my accountant.)
8. I offered her other company documents like VAT registration, company incorporation etc which she said will be useful as well.
9. I had the remittance advice slips as well but she said she doesnt need it.

I had indexed my personal and business bank account statements in excel and tallied all the total incomes for personal with salaryslips and business with invoices raised. The case worker found this useful. I had also marked the payments in the copy of both bank statements which the case worker appreciated as well and said these things will save her time. Also keeping copy of all the documents is also useful otherwise it takes extra time for them to take copies themselves.

She said we can go out if we want to and she will try and finish the assement in 2 hours time. So we went to near by mall - whitgift and spent time there.

13.45 - Came back to UKBA 1st floor. The documents and passports were all ready for collection at customer service desk (no. 22) and was told I will get the biometric card in 7 days.

Thanks to this forum where I got useful informatin to prepare all my documents for ILR.

How many days absence did you have? I know the CW asked you if you had more than 90 days absence in a stretch? did the case worker ask you if you had more than 225 days or 180 days?

i am also a self employ under my limited company. i will apply ILR soon, can i ask what accountant documents you provide? may i have the details on that?
