Surname change on ILR

Hi, I am a male, jave had my ILR for about 1 year now. I would like to know if it is possible to change the surname on my ILR as I am in the process of changing my surname in passport of own country.

Will you be issued a new passport subsequent to the name change, or will it just be a correction endorsed on the current passport?
