Cheque clearance date on personal and compan bank statement

Post by tier1_aspirant123 » Sat Jun 02, 2012 7:19 pm

Dear members,

I had been working as a contractor through my own limited company. i pay myself salary and dividend through cheques. now when the cheques are deposited in my personal bank account date on the statement the date of deposit while that of in the company's bank statement is the clearance date i.e. after 2 working dates.

do you think this will be a problem as the date of credit in personal bank account is before the date of debit on the company's bank account?

technically i dont think so it will be a problem as that is the way cheque clearing works but just wanted to confirm if any one had experiences in similar circumstances.

many thanks for your help and replies in advance

regards
