Applying Tier 2 for Dependents - Do I need to be in the UK?

Post by ksganesh100 » Mon Jun 04, 2012 1:17 pm

Question - Do I need to be in the UK when I apply for tier 2 dependent visa for my wife and kid?

Background - I have worked in the UK from Jan 2010 for around 25 out of the last 29 months and am currently in India. My wife travelled back in Sep 2011 for delivery and has been in India ever since then. I extended my visa in March valid until Jan 2014.

I now plan to travel to the UK in July 2012 with my dependents and wish to process my wife and kid's visa whilst I am in India.

Note - I have sufficient funds in both my India and UK bank accounts.

Any help is highly appreciated.
