ILR Success Croydon PEO 1st June

Post by rrai » Mon Jun 04, 2012 10:14 pm

Hi,

My ILR along with 2 dependant was approved on 1st June at Croydon ( HSMP-> Tier1). I would like to thank everyone who has shared their experiences and knowledge on this forum. The whole process was pretty smooth, though it took longer than I anticipated. My appointment was at 10.30 am but got the documents back along with the decison at 4 pm.

I entered UK almost 35 days after the initial visa stamping.

Documents submitted with the application :-
12 months salary slip
12 months salary bank statement
Form P60 for last year
Employment letter
3 months bank statement to show maintenance funds
Life in UK test pass certificates
Co-Habitation documents council tax, NHS letter, Utility Bills

In a general discussion with the case worker he confirmed that as per the existing rule you can apply before 28 days of visa expiry as long as if you have entered UK with in 90 days of entry clearance and fulfill all other criteria.
He also confirmed that initial delay of 90 days are not counted in 180 days rule to count absences from UK.
