Online application for extension of Tier -2 Visa

Dear Forum members,

Please help me understand the process of applying online for getting the premium service for Visa extension under Tier-2 (Employer sponsored). I have tried filling the online application but it asks for filling in the option for either the same day premium service or the standard post service. What if I fill in premium service in the online aplication and then fail to get a premium service appointment before my visa expires. How will I make any changes in my online application in that case. Also, they may deduct the cost of premium service and then can I switch back to standard postal service.

Please help.
