Need help with filling up family visit visa VAF1B form

Post by ukfriend » Wed Jun 06, 2012 7:54 am

Dear All,

I am filling in VAF1B form for my mother so that she can visit me for my graduation ceremony, I am currently on Tier 1 PSW Visa. I will be sponsoring all her expenses here in UK for this visit however to show strong ties to the country and to show proper ground to return back to her country after her visit, we are planning to show property valuation and business income + bank balance which all are in my dad' name.

I need help regarding following questions in Part 5: Finances and Employment

My mother is a housewife and entirely supported by my father's business plus some rental income.

5.1 What are your current personal circumstances?
Once she has ticked in option i.e. Supported by spouse / partner / other family member. It asks in 5.10 "What is your total monthly income from all sources of employment or occupation after tax?" so what shall she disclose in this box as personally she isn't earning anything at all.

Same in box 5.12, it asks "Do you have savings, property or other income (for example
from stocks and shares)?" as the bank balance and property are entirely in the name of my dad so what shall she disclose in this box.

I know there are so many question, but I would be very thankful to all of you for your kind reponses.

Thank you...[/quote]

In the application form, "you" refers to the applicant. All questions must be answered accordingly.

e.g. - If she doesn't have any income, then the answer to the 5.10 will be "0". Likewise, for all other such questions.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
