HSMP-Tier1 Dependent Days Out Query

Post by hotmale » Wed Jun 06, 2012 1:35 pm

Hi

I am applying for the ILR Jul-2012. My query is regarding my dependent wife.
She joined me in Oct-08. Last year she was out of the country for 3 months (Around 100 Days and since OCT-08 total of 120 Days).

I am not sure is that going to impact her ILR . As all the forums I have read explains that wife should be here for 2 years, Based on this she is here for around 3 years(exluding days outside the uk).

Am I counting this right or wrong?

Please advice

Regards

All that's required is that her qualifying residence period started at least 2 years before the application for ILR. There is no requirement to spend 728 days in the UK. Absences for PBS dependants are not counted.

Thats what I mean she should be here for 24 months in the uk and does not matter how long she is out of the uk for.
