Your lawyer needs to follow up with UKBA. They can take a maximum of 6 months to do their work.

Is your husband working?
my husband was present at the ceremony and we appointed a proxy for me since i could not travel back home being an overstayer. Proxy marraiges are legal in my country Cameroon
I am curious about this. Your husband was in Cameroon? And you remained in the UK? Wow!

maybe her german husband has his route from cameroon so it was easier to marry by proxy.I guess it was an african customary marriage

They are required to issue it "immediately". If you want to work, the COA is very useful. You should feel free to call them and demand that they issue it "immediately" as required by law
