5 Continuous Years - Yes or No - PLEASE HELP - URGENT

Post by GB79 » Wed Jun 06, 2012 3:23 pm

Hi,
I am due to apply for my ILR in a couple of weeks, and have only just noticed that I am two days short of 5 continuous years on the appropriate visa (I have been here 6 years, but first year was on a woking holiday).
My first HSMP commenced on 18 June 2007 but my current Tier 1 expires on 16 June 2012.
I have been in the country working the entire time, and the visa should cover the entire period...
Is this possibly something to do with Leap Years??
Am I still eligible as technically I fall just short of the 5 year period, or do I need to apply for a Tier 1 extension to cover those few days?
Please Help

You can apply for ILR up to 28 days before the end of the residence period. If your residence period began on June 18, you can apply for ILR anytime on or after May 20.
