Biomatrics -- ILR

Post by Sapphire » Wed Jun 06, 2012 9:37 pm

Hi Gurus

Wondering if anyone could answer?

I applied for ILR and couple of days ago I received a letter from HO to get my, my wife (dependent) and my 5 years old son (dependent) biomatrics done.

We all had our biomatrics done today; now there are three forms that needs to be filled up and post back to HO.

Do we all needs to fill up those forms? The forms are so weird and are not making anysense to me except in case of my son who to be accompanied by me.

Can anyone suggest if all these three forms needs to go? Or just two for 2 dependents (my wife and son)?

Any help will be much appreciated

Thanks

what sort of questions do the forms ask? did they tell you the purpose of the forms? Is there a title on the form?

It says "BIOMETRIC RESIDENCE PERMITS - FORM" and says It is mandatory to complete this section. If it is not complete, your application will be invalidated and will be returned to you

Also do i need to send the page that has bar code on that alone with forms?

Did you apply using the old version of the form- i.e. The version before the one released on 29 Feb?

In that case it seems clear why they have given you the forms-as you didn't complete the new form which contains these questions. You need to complete all three forms otherwise your applications will be invalid.

Is the barcode page the one they scanned at the post office for you to enrol your biometrics or is it part of the form?
