Tier 1 to Tier 2 ICT

HI,

I'm bit confused about how if my company sponsor me Tier 2 ICT. I've started working for my company last month and my visa expiring end of august 2012.

Do I have to leave the country before applying on Tier 2 ICT.

Can I extend within the UK ?

Do I have to work more than 6 months with my company before applying it.

any help would be really appreciated.

You are not eligible for Tier 2 ICT because you have not worked for the company for 12 months abroad.

However, if you are in Tier 1 at present you are allowed to switch into Tier 2 General in-country subject to certain conditions. Your employer will need to assign a CoS to you.
