ILR Duration

Hello Moderator/Expert

I had a work permit from dated 22 Nov 2007 And valid for 22 months till I enter UK.
I had my Visa stamping from 4th Jan 2008 till 22 nov 2009

I first time entered UK on 16th Jan 2008

and my visa got extended on per year basis on tier2 ICT

My current tier2 ICT Visa is valid until Dec 26th 2012

My continuous period of stay in the UK so far is - 4yrs 6months


However my question is From When am i eligible for ILR? Which date do they count for ILR the workpermit date or the visa stamping date or the date I entered UK ?

And my nesxt question is I have my Visa only till 26th dec 2012 So Can I apply for the ILR with Visa remaining for Few days only..
