BPR Details Wrong

Post by sumitt » Thu Jun 07, 2012 9:24 pm

Hi Guys,

I have got my BPR ( for TIER 1 general migrant) today and i am not sure if i should be happy or sad. My "Place of Birth" is wrong in BPR.

I have very old passport from India (issued in 2000). It contains handwritten text on first page which i feel is the cause of mistake.
In the document (on which BPR was pasted) Mentions if there is any mistake in BPR, it should be highlighted Along with:
1) Full Name
2) Date of Birth
3) Nationality
4) Passport Number
5) Contact Telephone number
6) BPR reference ( which i assume is the number on BPR)
7) Case Reference number: Not sure what is this? Is this what I got on acknowledgement letter?

Also can somebody advise how much hassels it is to get BPR corrected and how much time it may take?

Best Regards,
Sumit

Not sure why you have posted in this section. the letter accompanying your passport explains what to do about incorrect details on your BRP.
