forme tier-2 holder, want to visit uk

Post by Hesskaz » Fri Jun 08, 2012 11:36 am

Dear All,

While ago (November 2011) I posted a thread (shown below) on the unfortunate delay in notifying the Home Office of my change of employer from "A" to "B" January last year leading to the curtailment of my leave to remain from 14 March 2014 to 11 November 2011 by UKBA.

http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=89235

after the 7 months passed. im in Shanghai and working for a company full-time here and I'm deciding to apply for a visit visa from here to go to uk and see freiends for a 10 days period. I've explained honestly in the visit visa application about the circumstances conducive to curtialment of leave. the questions is:

Do you think they will refuse my entry? am i supposed not to enter country for 1 year? considering voluntarily leaving UK before the deadline.

thanks,

I think we can discuss this until the cows come home but the only way you will know if a ban is going to be applied is by paying 78 pounds and waiting for a decision

Why not? If you are refused you will be in a club that has a very large membership. Furthermore, each application you subsequently make will be considered on the conditions that apply at the time, so previous refusals are not considered unless the reason for the previous refusal still exists.
