TIER 1 G 3 yrs old Dependent born in UK -need to apply?

Post by Alakbar30 » Fri Jun 08, 2012 3:42 pm

Hello everyone?

My child is 3 years old and I applied for his permit several months after he had been born as we were planning to travel.

Now I am planning to extend my visa in August. Do I have to apply for his extension as well? My understanding is that this is not required for a non-travelling child in case of the extension and ILR application as he is automatically granted a citizenship once once of his parents has granted a settlements. Please, confirm.

Regards,

Alakbar
