Documents required for OTHER THAN LOW RISK countries

Post by haiderijaz2012 » Sat Jun 09, 2012 8:24 am

Hello everyone,

Can someone please elaborate in detail that what documents do we require while applying from Pakistan? I currently have all my qualification documents and I will get my bank statement in a few days. Other than this, I have my matric marks sheet, didn't do F.Sc as I started CAT and also have cleared first 8 papers of ACCA. Do I require a police certificate? and my marks sheet of Matric needs to be attested from IBC? Also, in my application form do I need to mention that I applied to Canada and withdrew my application from there as I didn't receive an answer for more than four months? It will be really kind of you if you help

The policy guidance explains what documents need to be provided.

Thank you for a quick reply geenie. The thing is I didnt find in the policy guidance requirement for a police certificate for Pakistani students but one of my friends who is applying through a consultant suggests that I should provide a police certificate otherwise I may get refused. Can you confirm this please? It will be really kind of you.

'Friends' and 'Consultants' suggessions actually create problems in visa matters.

If you provide all documents as specified in guidance published by UKBA, and don't have any bad immigration history, you will get your visa. There is no 'may be refused' things in UK PBS visas.

Thank you deviser! And to tell you, I have a previous passport that contains a UK visa. I have visited UK before but not more than that. No illegal acts no crimes. Never been refused for any country. Though I applied to Canada, but i had to withdraw my application after my parents unwillingness to send me there and also it had been four months to my application. Should this be mentioned anywhere on my visa application form?
I agree with your comment. My consultant for Canada actually caused many issues for me.

If some reference number regarding your Canadian application, written somewhere on your passport, you should write about (whatever happened) in UK visa form, either in some relevant section or in additional information section.

Nope. There's nothing mentioned on my passport. It is as I had sent it to the embassy. And also WHERE CAN I FIND THE UNIQUE VISA NUMBER on my Visa page on my OLD UK VISA? because in the application form they ask to state that number. Thank you you have been really kind to answer my queries upto now.

Also, I know that I won't be allowed work on my visa as I am not studying in HEI or Publicly funded organization but Can I do internship as I need to gain experience along with my ACCA be it unpaid! Because I need to get my ACCA membership soon as I am just left with six ACCA papers as for now.

Visa reference should be written on visa like VAF123456, for example. If you cannot find it, just mention visa details without number. It won't create any problem.

You cannot work in UK either paid or un-paid. Plus don't think that you can get any internship opportunity in any ACCA/CA firm even you offer work for free or offer them some money. They don't bother to recruit Tier-4 students at any cost regardless of work permission. So, to get ACCA membership and practicle work you need to go back to your home country.

Bear in mind that UK is already full of local CAs/ACCAs/ACMAs who are unable to find any suitable work.

Thanks alot deviser for such awareness and information. You have been really kind and helpful, both of you! Hopefully I can get visa and then I will see how to move out of England to probably any other country. I will come back to Pakistan if I am unable to do anything but hopefully I will move somewhere else insh ALLAH. Take care thank you again
