So, other than the job that you have lost you have no ties to your country of origin / residence strong enough to make you return?9jaboy wrote:i came into the uk on a visitor's visa but at the point of entry, i was denied entry based on the fact that i didn't have enough funds on me. i was told my visa was cancelled and i had to go back to my country, but as i claimed i had someone in the uk who was ready to sponsor my 2 weeks stay, they took me to a detention center where i got a bail, and was told to go back within the 2 weeks i planned, but when i got to the airport voluntarily, my passport was not provided. Few weeks later, i got a letter asking me to come sign every week until a particular date when i would be interviewed again to see if i could be granted leave to enter or not, this has taken a total of about 5months already, as i have been going to sign weekly. The interview date is less than 2 weeks now. what should i do quickly as i do not want to go back anymore. there is nothing to go back to do at home as i have lost my job already.
