Retention of right

Post by Mumsy1982 » Sun Jun 10, 2012 3:44 pm

Hello Everyone, Please i have a question and will appreciate any answer. I am a non EEA family member and been married for 4years. A divorce proceedings is going on as the marriage has failed.
After our marriage, we tried a baby to no avail and decided to do an IVF.. to cut story short he is not the father. He now lives with another woman and still wants me to name the baby after him so i refused and left the fathers details blank. My question is, when i eventually apply for a retention of right, will they want to know why i did not mention anything about my daughter to the court?
He is working and as agreed to help provide all documents required to apply for retention of right.

If he is working and willing to help, your case should be easy and there will be no need to courts. Make sure that you are working or self sufficient as well.

Personally speaking, I don't know but you can have a child with someone else which is not UKBA business. Still, consult another member of the forum.
