Urgent travel plan- T1 visa ext. approved but BRP nt recd

Post by guddu84 » Mon Jun 11, 2012 1:15 pm

hello Guru,

I have received my all documents and letter saying my Tier 1 visa extended till 3 years more.

I had applied thru same day service in Croydon PEO on 2nd of May and recived my document on 8th June Friday (letter dated 7th June), saying that You will be reciveing BRP within 7 working days. "You are advised not to make travel arrangements until you have received BRP".

My wife had already booked a ticket to travel plan on 15th June and our old visa sticker on passport is valid till 14th June 2012.

Q. My question is can She travel on 15th June from UK, and once I receive BRP, I will courier to her?

Q. Should I change travel plan to travel on 14th Jun as per old visa last date.

I have already sent an email to BRPdelivery saying the situation that her mother is not well.

I am a little confused. Who is it that has applied for the BRP, you or your wife? It appears as if You have. If that's the case, then your wife can travel no problem as long as has the relevant visa already.

I have applied Tier 1 (G) extn along with my wife (T 1 dependent).

We have already an existing visa stamp valid till 14th June 2012.

Travel plan is only for my wife on 15th June. Waiting for BRP......

Can she travel on 15th June without having BRP......

I'm afraid not because they will check she has her BRP before she leaves the country - at least they did with me.

If I change travel date to 14th June, can she travel with old visa stamp on passport?

Please guide me this action is right? She got her passport and old visa is still valid till 14th June, I think she can travel from UK on this and while returning I will send her BRP once arrival?
