Resident labour market test

I am working for small company more then 3 months under student dependent visa. Can my company sponsor me under work permit?
I have this question because I am already working and they advertise vacancy in Job Centre Plus for my Resident labour market test.

Work Permit closed in 2008. They may, however, sponsor you under Tier 2 points based system.

Are you a "student dependant" (pre-PBS) or a "Tier 4 dependant"?
