Tier-1(General) Extension - Accountant Related Query

Post by sainath_iiml » Mon Jun 11, 2012 8:36 pm

Dear All,

Background: I work as a free lance consultant in the IT sector. I operate under my own company and am the Director of the same. My company accounts are handled by SJD ACCOUNTANCY.

Query: I came to know that SJD does not belong to any of the registered bodies that UKBA asks for. So, i have the following queries.
1) Does it pose a problem during Visa extension if the accountancy is not registered to what UKBA asks?
2) Is there anyone else in this group who also has SJD as an accountant and got a Visa extension using them?

Thanks in advance for any response received.

Regards,

Sai.

Hi
I talked with my SJD accountant today about the UKBA guidelined.
They are going to sign the reference letter by an ACCA accountant in SJD's letterhead.

SJD has staff with qualifications from the following accountancy bodies - ATII, ATT, ACCA, CA, ACA, FCCA, ACMA.

So better talk with your accountant..they would be able to help....
