Tier 1 visa extenction period

Post by suryasmith » Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:19 am

Hello

I got tier 1 visa general visa on July 2010 and for 2years of period.
I went for visa extenction on 16th may 2012..i got visa extenction for till July 2014 (2years).
But as per my knowledge visa will be get 2+3 years or 3+2 years. But in my case I got 2+2 years..
Is there any rules are changed on April 2012.
Please let me know the process for to approach UKBA.

Thanks
Surya

No, there is no time limit.
The earlier you get this sorted, the better. But since you are going home and there's no telling how much time they will take to rectify this, best that you chase this up after your return.
