How the 5 year educational history is determined by UKBA

Post by rasellittle » Tue Jun 12, 2012 7:03 am

Hello everyone. As UKBA has put a limit of 5 year in degree level, i am wondering how they will determine that if someone has already passed the limit for cases like where someone has changed courses. As before we didn't notify any course change and extended visa in due time. In my case i came on level 7 course and changed to below degree level course and extended visa by providing all backup documents. only last couple of years i am studying in degree level course and i am in uk for more than 5 years. so how ukba will assess my extension application this time considering the limit. Any comments please.

The will look at your previous applications and the courses for which you were granted leave to study. So if following being granted leave for a degree level course you changed to a below degree level course it will be up to you to provide evidence of this with your application.
