EEA question, help needed asap thanks

Post by dmax » Tue Jun 12, 2012 3:52 pm

me and wife are going to thailand to bring her 2 sons aged 11 years back to uk on EEA permit. the kids first need passports, will passport office require biological fathers signature ? also the EEA application form is asking me about the biological fathers details and his date of birth etc . my wife was never married to him and he left her when the kids were born, she has had no contact with him nor have the kids, nor can anyone trace him.

what can we do about this ? THANKS

Does your wife have sole custody of the children? If not, she might need their father's permission for them to live abroad.

(1) Get the passports.

(2) Make the EEA FP application. You will need to provide your marriage certificate, your wife's passport, and the children's birth certificates and their passports.

If the embassy requires anything additional, they will ask!

Please let us know if they do ask for anything, or if there are any unexpected developments
