MULTI ENTRY VISAS - Ireland

In summary, it says on the irish government website, that if you have had two visit visas (C) you can apply for Multi Entry visa short stay C visa.

After you have been granted a tourist visa once and have honoured it, are there problems with being granted another?? (non EU National, has been granted one visa already, still has the same financial status etc)

Also, how long is a Multi Entry Visa Valid for, and can you enter and leave on it as many times as u wish?

Irish with non eu partner (unmarried). He would llike to be able to visit more often without the hassle of appling for C single entry visa each and every time.
