Settlement Visa Call - Egypt

May have missed a call from the British Embassy in Cairo.

Does anyone know whether they call on a private number or the number they call on?.

Anybody else missed a call?. How long did you have to wait for another call back?.

They can only call on a contact number/s that the applicant has mentioned in the application form.

Sorry. I meant the number which the Embassy call from?.

Is the British Embassy number shown as a private number.

yes Tee they do phone from a private number, we are just about to put our 2nd application in

we re submitted on 26th june and have not heard anything yet, but i did see that there is a delay in all visa applications in Cairo due to maintainance work on embassy!!!

resubmitted - 26th jun 2012
refused again - 14th oct 2012
appeal lodged - 28th oct 2012
date given - 3rd april 2013
court 15th july
UKBA withdrawn 12th july

We applied on 14th June still not heard anything. Does anyone know how long the delays are supposed to last

it just says they are working as fast as they can to sort the problem..its on worldbridge website

We applied 22 May, my husband had a missed call about two week later from 'withheld' didn't call back after that, heard nothing since.
