Tier 2 General - change of office location

Hi, I am on the Tier 2 General visa, and I am moving from Scotland to London office within the same company, same job title, salary will increase just because it's London standard (not because of promotion). I have gone through the UKBA guidance and search for similar topics on this forum but still not sure.

Can you please let me know what I and my sponsor company has to do, is it
- a "technical change" which I was told may take 3 months to process, or
- my company only have to "give a notification" to UKBA, which we don't have to wait for UKBA to process or approve at all

I would really appreciate if you can point out for me where in the UKBA website or guidance that shows rules in this case

Your employer should report your change of address and salary through the Sponsor Management System within 10 days of the change occurring. The reference to this requiremenet is in paragraphs 555-556 of the T2 sponsor guidance: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary

You should complete a change of circumstances form and send it to the address given on the form. The form together with help text is here:

Both the above are notifications only, neither you nor your employer have to wait for UKBA's approval.

I just wanted to check, what if at the application stage itself, the key contact given in the aplication is transferred to a different country within the same company for a tier-2 license application?

Is any fomality required for this?

It is not clear what you mean by "application stage". Application for what?

The Key Contact must be based in the UK. Changes to the Key Contact must be advised through the SMS. See paragraphs 666-667 in the sponsor guidance
